Don't suffer in silence. Take your first step toward healing.
Experience enables us to offer effective evidenced-based therapy. Counseling is provided by offering a safe and nurturing environment to address issues concerning individuals, children, families, and couples.
The focus of counseling is to address concerns effecting your daily life. This is accomplished in therapy while building inner strength in order to manage these hurdles on your own.
We promise to be there for you every step of your therapy journey. The goal is to help you grow in spite of life's struggles, heal from past pain, and move forward in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through therapy and treatment, you can rejuvenate motivation, deepen your perspective, and experience the joy that you once had in your life. Don't suffer alone and in silence.
Many individuals can experience various symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger from traumatic events. We can assist you in managing these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. We are now serving children and adolescents as well. Your therapist is located here in Rochester.
Children and Adolescents have had a challenging year. Many have isolated and retreated from families and friends. We have a child and adolescent therapist on staff who has experience in play therapy as well as trauma focused treatment. She can work with children from ages 3-18.
Most people have experienced loss of some type in their life. This past year has presented many challenges and losses whether it is the loss of a loved one, loss of independence, loss of close friendships, or loss of "normal life". Experienced clinicians are here to help you though the process of grief. Don't suffer in silence.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial for couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection. Therapy sessions are held with both individuals in a supportive place to explore interpersonal dynamics while developing strategies to strengthen and heal your relationship.

Dr. MacLeod is a very nice and caring woman. She’s honest when necessary, yet kind with her words. She also has a good sense of humor. I do wish she had more availability because I wanted to see her weekly. Not sure if other therapists are that booked up like that. I guess it was because she was highly sought after. Other than that, she was an excellent counselor and I highly recommend her for therapy, if you can get in. Once you get in, don't lose your spot.
